For AI-based companies, devising impactful intellectual property (IP) strategies that serve business objectives is not a straightforward exercise. What forms of IP rights best serve those objectives? Trade-secrets? Copyrights? Publications? Patents? Shall we leverage open source technologies or develop proprietary technologies? This workshop will provide an overview of the IP rights available for AI-based technologies. Real-life examples will be presented and discussed.
